Well the sun shinned yesterday and so out in the yard I went.  Got all the pine cones picked up and some raking done.  Yard does look a lot better. 

I cleaned out my pots and pan storage and was able to throw away one pan and lid.  I was hoping to toss more but I found I use everything in there. 

 My neighbor and I went on a hunt for a trough for her horses to restore for hunanitarian store and I was able to find a clock for in the TV den and a saying to put in my laundry room when I get it painted.  The saying says Wash Dry fold and repeat. 

 These are pictures of our now TV - den room down stairs.  I always wanted this room for this purpose when all the kiddos left home.  DH got it for his music room but slowly I will recreate it as a den - TV room.  These are his guitars and I ask you how many guitars does one man need?  This room needs a complete update.

I swept out the old storage and was going to organize it but the day became night and so I had to put it off.  Today is not too bad of a day I might get down there and do a little straightening. 

I am finding there was a lot more room in this storage than in the new one.  But there are just the two of us and I believe we do not need much.  The reason that this has all come to a head is that we have had 5 small earth quakes all around us and we live on the St Andres fault.  Everyone says there will be a big one some day.  I am really excited to get this area organized and utilized, it will clear up a lot of my garage and maybe I can find what I need when I need it. 

Well enought for today.  I need to drink my tea and get going if I am to accomplish anything.

Well it is 1:00 A.M. and I cannot sleep.  My mind is full of nonsense and I cannot shut it down. 
Sunday we went for a ride as it was sunny out and it was so nice to feel the sun.  Today was another good day a neighbor and I went out to Restore (humanitarian store) to look for somethings and I found a clock for down stair so Mr will know what time it is when he is down in his cave. 

The snow has melted however I just checked the weather and it has us down for snow on Friday and Saturday.  I am hoping that it is only rain.  It has been so nice to finally see green grass.  However I got to see what a mess our yard is in and that was not consoling. 

Today was a good day.  I cleaned the fronts of my cabinets and also the pan cabinet and was able to get rid of one fry pan and lid.  I really thought I had more that I could spare but I did not. 

I have just about made up my mind to just quit trying to make everything perfect and just get on with life.  I am still trying to keep up with all the family things like birthdays and babies being born and trying to be the perfect grandma and great grandma and I think I have had it.  I just want to live each day to please me. Selfish I know. 

I saw a preview of a movie that is coming up and I definitely want to go see it.  It is call POM.
It stars Diane Keeton and I really enjoy her movies. 

Well tomorrow is another day so I had best try to get some sleep.  I will have some pictures tomorrow of our ride.

Well here it is Friday.  Wow where has the time gone.  We got to the dentist and the filling that I thought I needed turned out to nothing.  So now I am believing that it might be my sinus causing pain in my teeth.  This growing old is for the birds and I do not think they would even like it. 

I have not been very productive lately it is still snowing here and I just have had it.  I want some warm weather.  Usually we go to Nevada in February but it has been snowing there also. 

One of the farmer wives told me today that Spring is just around the corner and I wonder which corner?  I can't find it. 

Hubby and I went out for lunch and that was at least a small break.  I do so want to get my old storage place cleaned and organized with some things from the garage however it being as cold as it is I have not gotten to it. 

I really enjoy the comments I have gotten this last couple of posts.  Thank you all so very much.  I don't have any pictures to post today but maybe I will get some tomorrow.  If the sun shines I will definitely put some on. 

I went to Walmart and they are having a hard time getting set up for spring.  They usually have all their gardening things out but I think this weather has them confused.  Snow shovels and garden hoses?  Oh well.

Well it might have been a holiday for some people but not for me.   Daughter #2 came by with a project she wanted to do.  Note on the (she),  Baby blankets for my new great grandson and her first grandson.  She wanted to do recieving blankets with Rick Rack around them which I thought was a cute idea but one that I have never done before.  I must say it turned out quite cute.  Picture does not do it justice.

Also we got a visit from this little monkey and boy did she have fun.  She kept us all busy keeping her from the stairs and keeping her entertained. And when we didn't well just look.

But the good thing is she was so busy the end result was this.

She is so fun but oh so busy.  I can tell my age when she comes over and I try to keep up with her.
Well did not get any of my sewing room complete but tomorrow is Dentist day and Wednesday is dog grooming day.  So it looks like this week is pretty full.  Maybe Thursday I will keep my fingers crossed.  Well I have a treasure hunt to complete as I cannot find my mouse or my earplugs or my picker for when my back is killing me.  Little one has hidden many things,

Sunday and I hope the Lord forgives me for working so hard today.  I got to get stuff done! With my new shelves for storage it has given me a whole new method for my food storage.

I can now see what I have and rotate it accordingly.  The old storage was in the garage in a nook and I hated it.  It was dark even though I kept a light there and there were spiders and it was so hard to keep clean and rotated.  In our old home I have a whole small room with shelves all around and it was amazing.

I also baked some muffins however I will not show them cause as usual they did not turn out.  There has to be something wrong with my oven cause I can never get anything baked in it to come out correctly.  We bought it new just 6 years ago and I am about ready to go get me a new one that is of the older type.

I also got some chili ground up today that I have needing to get done for quite some time.

Oh what a busy day.  We decided that our food storage (well I did) was not really accessible manageable.  So off we went to Walmart and bought two big sets of shelves.  Now I had to make the sacrifice of giving up my sewing closet, but it is going to work so well.  I am really excited about it as now I can see everything I have and can rotate it according.  This is going to be so much better. 

I was going to take pictures but I am too tired tonight.  Yes I am sure I will sleep tonight.  So tomorrow I will take pictures and post them. 

Now I have a sewing room that is a disaster.  So tomorrow I will be in there doing a Marie Kondo declutter. 

Legs are aching tonight but I have had to myy amazment two whole days of very little pain.  Now if I can just figure out why?  I really need to start a pain journal daily with what I did and what I took.  I used to do that when I dot migrains  and then I could see if there was a pattern.  I think my migrains dropped to my legs cause now I do not get migrains just legs stiff and achy. 

I am so excited about my food storage now.  I can actually make a check off list of what I have and what I need to purchase.   Isn't that a funny thing to be exicted about?

It is almost 2:00 a m and I cannot sleep.  I realize that this is not what I should be doing but I have so much on my mind.  We spent the day with great grandchildren and daughter no 2 family.  It was a valentine supper and it was so nice.  I love seeing my grandchildren with their children and how they are so in love with them.  I am feeling so blessed tonight and I am sure that is why I cannot sleep.  Well that and the fact that my legs are aching.  The wind was so bad tonight I hope our shingles stayed on the roof.  Tomorrow will tell.  I have been working on baby blankets as we just heard today that we are going to get number 16 great grandchild by September.  The Lord has answered so many of my prayers I almost feel guilty.  I do so hope he is pouring out blessing on many other people. 

My sister-in-law came thru surgery and they are starting to take her off the inhubator and she is off the balloon that was helping her,  Now her husband is in the hospital.  I think all the stress just wore him out.  I prayer for her family and her every night.  I do so wish we lived closer so that we could help with the things that need to be done.  Our neices and nephew are so wonderful.  He daughter has MS and I am quite sure that all this stress has had a toll on her. 

Well that is about all I can think of tonight.  I guess I will go try and go to sleep again.

Well it has begun.  My hubby come from a large family and they are all getting up in years.  The oldest brother and two sisters have already passed away.  Now another sister has had a heart attack and it does not look good.  The family has been in constant prayers.  Living far away from each other is just not good.  But with so many they made their decision where to live.  We have been on a constant vigil this whole week.  Today she had surgery and we are waiting the outcome.  She is a strong sister but this is going to tale the tale. 

Snowed again yesterday.  13 inches on Friday and another 4 last night.  Hubby is out shoveling so I can make a trip to the mail to get a package off to my sister and pick up some meds. 

I did get the floors swept and beds made.  Two loads of laundry done and myself made up.  Hubby says why do I keep track and I told him it was my mental check list so i feel that I have accomplished something.

I was fearful to check my account as I went a little crazy this weekend.  I am not very good at saving.  I think I will make a no spend chart so I  can see some motivation. 

Just got news sister-in-law made it through surgery now on to a long recovery.
