Oh Sorry Chris.  My Bad.  I had a cousin that lived in New Zealand for quite awhile and she loved it.
Today was a no picture day.  Did the stairs too many times and really stiff tonight.  Busy Busy DH made some blocks for the greats and guess who had to decorate them?  Yup!  That is fine he just loves his little great granddaughters.  I packed my sewing back downstairs got tired of the messy kitchen table.  Now I have to get my ambition up to go finish the projects I have started.  I have never liked basements.  In the summer it is cooler down there so I do not mind it so much but in the winter it is colder and even with my heater it is cool.  I did get the entryway decorated but will have to take a picture tomorrow.  I just went to the back door to let the dog in and I heard ice crystals hitting the wooden deck so it must be cold out for sure.  Everyone stay warm this weekend,

Anyother cold day.  It was 22 this morning.  I guess I cannot complain I have a warm fire and plenty to do.  Leg is still stiff.  I really do not want to do therapy.  I hate pain.  We woke up yesterday to a horn stuck and we both heard it but in our minds said no that is not ours, Well after about 2 hours I told DH can you hear that horn?  He went to investigate and yes it was ours.   The Cold had made the horn honk and stick.  Strange things happen in the winter. 

I bought me a Christmas cactas to see if I can keep it going.  I do not have much luck with them and have had a few.  My mother had one and she could get it to bloom every years and thought it was so beautiful.  So may be she can give me guidance from above.  Love you MOM. 

I have been dragging it out trying to decorate and I just do a little a day.  I still have to put a tree but there just isnt any place to put it.  so that might be my project today.  I did put out a lighted garland and told DH there is our tree.  It is sad that Christmas gets to be too big a project when you get old.  I do like to decorate but I am finding putting up a tree is just a little too big a project.  Lazy?  Maybe.

I purchased this little snowman from Hobby Lobby and  I have added him to my snowman 

collection.   I just looked outside and it is starting to snow a bit.  

Pain no Gain

Well it is one week today from knee surgery.  Decided if I was going to decorate for Christmas I had better get on it.  So off to Walmart we go.  Which was suppose to be an in and get what you need and out again.  Did not use the scooters because I thought we were not going to be that long.  NOT  DH decided to take off in another direction and I walked all around the store trying to find him.  Home now with my knee aching like yeah you know what. 

Still do not have my tree up and there is just not any place to put it but where I put Abby's dog bed so she is going to be uprooted.  She is not going to be a happy dog.  Tuck does not use the dog bed so he could care less. 

Really cold here today 4 degrees this morning.  We have gotten about 7 inches of snow last week and are suppose to get more tomorrow night.  Well I am off to nap for a bit then I will get moving on the Christmas decor.

What a crazy couple of days.  Rain came down in torents and we had to put out pumps to keep our basement from flooding.  This has happened three times this year.  Exhausting times.

I need to but not today.

Well that was what went on today.  I did a lot of planning (I guess you could call it that)

Well a lot has been happening here.  We have found a brother of my husbands that was given up for adoption.  We met up at Village Inn for lunch and really enjoyed meeting him and getting to know him and his story.  The days have been full of canning tomatoes and trying to organized my pictures on my computer.  i have decided that I need very badly to get my pictures, genealogy and just plain paperwork more organized.  So the journey has began.  I recieved the most precious gift from my sister-in-law today.  I was going to take a picture but I will have to do it tomorrow due to it is too late tonight and I am tired.  In fact I am beyoung tired.  My daughter whose children were all raised and she was free to do what she wanted and injoy her hubby is now the parents to two boys.  He daughter's sons have come to live with her while her daughter is incarcerated.  I has been a real stressure.  It is such a sad situation.  We have tried so hard to help this girl but she doesn't get it.  I pray every night that she will see the light and grow up to take care of these two sweet little boys.  

The middle boy is my grandson Ryder.  We took them to the pool last Saturday and they had a blast.  Well I had better go to bed I will be tired tomorrow if I don't and I have a full day tomorrow too.

Well today made up for yesterday.  We all went to the pool (indoors cause all the outdoor pools were closed due to bad air).  We took my two greatgrandsons and my two grandsons who even though they were the same age have never met each other.  The oldest two were born on the same day one hour apart.  They had a blast.  I was going to show pictures however I cannot find them on my computer.  I will try again tomorrow.  Tired tonight.  May God bless everyone out there in Blog land.
